About Me and My Career Aspiration

My name is Ardy Rizky Prananda Erwin, a 20-year-old Indonesian IT student at Deakin College. Why IT you might ask? Well, I have been developing a passion on the IT world since when I was a little kid. As I grew up I saw people with IT background rise into the pinnacle of life. Among of them are the famous Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Steve Jobs and Wozniak and the latest and most sensational, Elon Musk. This made me interested to dig more about the IT world especially in the era of digital information, therefore I decided to continue my tertiary studies on IT.

Growing up in the era of digital technology also mean that the gaming industry is no stranger to me. I have been playing video games since I was young and I still carry the habit until today. Combining my video game addiction and my love to IT, I’ve always wanted to create my own video game. This can be reflected on my studies as I am planning to major on game development.

Talking about my future, I want to have a career in the gaming industry. More specifically I wanted to be a game developer where I will be creating a game through coding and working with other people with the design. Research has shown that the gaming industry is more promising each year as video game today is not only for entertainment purposes but can be used for professional purposes.
